*Lazy Sunday Afternoon & Selection Of Photos*

What's the best thing to do on a beautiful Sunday Morning & Afternoon ? To us, our favourite past time is to laze through the morning & afternoon at a cafe with savoury cakes and indulge in a cup of tea.

We've been really busy with our life and didn't really have the time to sit down and chill. Since we're going to Tanjong Pagar in the afternoon to do our photo selection from our photo-shoot a month ago, we decided to leave earlier and spent a little bit of quality time chilling out.

We've came across this cake shop, Flor Patisssrie, at Duxton Road during our last visit to our bridal boutique. The cakes are unique and they look delicious ! It's time to give it a try. We ordered 2 slices of cakes and a cup of earl grey. Wow !! The cakes taste fantastic ! Smooth and spongy cake with tasty cream which is not too sweet ! And the best thing, the price is so affordable compared to other cake shops.

After our lazy chill out at Flor Patisssrie, it is time to select our photos at our Bridal Boutique. Selection of photos really kills our brain cells. Every photo is taken so nicely just the way we wanted it. We have so many choices of photos to select from !!! It's a tough decision to make 30 photos out of 300 photos. After much discussion with Rowe, we selected 30 photos based on the 10 photos for each location/ However, in the end, we topped up another $500 dollards for additional 12 photos and a storey based album. Hope the album will turn out great !!!

We'll see the album at the end of Feb.. ... ..

*6 Hours of Hard Work*

I've always think that wedding invitations preparation is actually a 4 simple steps process.

  1. Collect the Invitation Cards & Envelopes from the Hotel/Restaurant
  2. Find a printing centre to print the inserts
  3. Align the inserts into the Invitation Cards & Envelopes
  4. Write the names & send out the invitaitons
Looking at the simple steps is relatively easy, this is not what Rowe & me gone through when we did it last week.

The first two steps of the process was mainly all about coordinations and liasing with the respective people, not forgetting having some labour work during the collection. However it's not as simple as how we see it. Aligning the inserts to the Invitation Cards & Envelope was no easy feat at all ! It sounds simple, yet we spent a total of 6 HOURS sorting them out ! Never underestimate simple tasks, you'll never know til you've gone through.

What's left to do is to send out the invitations and await for the day to arrive ... .... ..

*2011 Awaits*

After months of waiting and counting down, 2011, Year of the Rabbit, has finally ARRIVED !!! There are so much that we're looking forward to in this brand new year ! New challenges, resolutions & a start of new life are there for both of us to sieze them !!

With so much awaiting down 2011, we can't wait for all our plans & resolutions to take shape and blossom like a flower and bear fruits. Setting the new chapter for 2011 begins with Rowe moving into her new place at Changi, Ballota Park ! With months of planning, packing & errands, the house is finally ready for bigger plans ahead !!! Chinese New Year Plans & Wedding Plans of course !!! All the ice-breaking sessions before Wedding with all the Bridesmaid & Bestmen & not forgetting the Gate-Crashing Party on the Big Day !! Event is just a couple of winks ahead. We're so excited about it !!

Crossing into the 2nd quarter of the year after our Wedding, Project "Dragon Baby" will first be set into Planning Phase. This project will certainly brings a 360 degrees change into our lifestyle. Being inexperience, we ought to seek more advices from friends. We certainly hope to start our small family as soon as possible, but that means we may lose a little bit of 二人世界. We loses something but something else. In this case, it is definitely worth it ! It is the essence of our love. Work Hard ! =P

Looking forward for the day to arrive.. .... ..

*Wedding Invitation*

With all the Christmas Craziness gone, we're now gearing ourselves for NEW YEAR'S EVE !!! Can't wait to party at Ivy & Wilson's Love Nest with their Love Fruit, Baby Fayth !!! I'm a sucker for babies !!

When we stepped into January 2011, It's another step closer to our wedding day. But before that, 恭喜发财 !!! CHINESE NEW YEAR !!! And it's our last Lunar New Year to collect Ang Baos !!!

Though collection of Ang Baos is important, however, we have more serious business to handle in this festive season ! I'm pretty sure all to-be-married couples knows it too. Yes ! That's giving out Invitation Cards ! Giving out during this festive season is a pretty good choice of timing. Why ? This explains all.
  1. It's Convenient for you.
  2. It adds joy to this festive season.
  3. It solves the yearly issue of elders asking where is yr gf.
  4. It solves the yearly issue of elders asking when you getting married.
  5. It gives them time to prepare a BIGGER Ang Bao !! Haha !! =P
Anyway, after much discussion with Richard (Our Printing Agent), finally the template is out !! Phew !! It's not easy to come out with the template. There's so much info to be provided. Names, Calender, Venue, Address...etc to be provided in both English & Chinese. Luckily, we approached the agent referred by our Hotel, less hassle for us. Here's how our Invitation will look like !

Ok !! Now is to wait for Chinese New Year to arrive !!!!!!!!! =)
